Selection
The Magis Award Committee will select the recipients. A seven-member Committee will govern the
Cheverus Magis Awards and will be responsible for selecting the annual recipients.
The Committee shall be comprised of the following members:
- The President of Cheverus High School or his representative.
- The Director of Alumni Affairs.
- Three members, one appointed by the President and two by the Director of Alumni Affairs, who are either alumni or former members of the Board of Trustees or, past or present faculty members who have been at Cheverus for a minimum of 15 years.
- Two members of the Cheverus faculty who have been here a minimum of twelve years. These faculty members will be appointed by the Director of Alumni Affairs.
- Appointed committee members will not serve for a term of more than three(3) consecutive years.
