Though the years have flown by and taken each of you in different directions, you can still get together at a reunion and reminisce about your Cheverus days. How do you organize that reunion? Cheverus has the reunion plan that will make everything easy for you.
Step 1. Pick a Date.
Contact Brian Hallisey at (207)774-6238, ext. 20 or via email at hallisey@cheverus.org. Pick a date and we’ll reserve space for your reunion.
Step 2. Pick an Event.
Use the suggestions on the event brochure from Cityside Events to pick your theme (event brochure). Or get creative and combine one of the suggested menus with a cruise, a Seadogs game, the theater or a musical evening or one of your own ideas. Cityside Events will organize it and set it up so you can enjoy a reunion filled with good food, music and friends without all the hard work.
Once you've decided on the event you'll need to contact Brian Hallisey, Cheverus Special Events Coordinator, who will assist you and act as reunion liaison between you and Cityside Events. Here is the information you'll need to provide Brian:

Step 3. Grab a Group.
Grab a couple of your classmates and meet at Cheverus to take a look at the rooms available. Use our rooms and telephones to call your classmates about the reunion.
We will provide you with the class lists, room and telephones where you can meet
to call your classmates.
Step 4. Enjoy.
We have several spaces, both on campus and off, that are available to accommodate your reunion:
The Peter L. Sparta Alumni Room.
The Sparta Alumni Room, the old “rec” room, is large enough for all members of your class in its “club” atmosphere. The 72” big screen television, leather armchairs and the best view of Back Bay in the city make this room perfect for a cocktail party or “Stag” night.
The Jesuit Library
The former Jesuit library will seat up to 85 for a sit-down luncheon or dinner.
The Cheverus Lawn
Cityside Events can set up a tent and whatever else you need for your reunion on the lawn overlooking Back Bay (additional tent and set up fee required).
The Inn on Peaks Island
If you feel a jaunt on Casco Bay is in order, Cityside Events will set up a tent on the island for your event (additional tent and set up fee required).

Multi-School Reunion: Cheverus, Portland, Deering and McAuley
Evening Buffet dinner at the Holiday Inn by the Bay, 88 Spring Street
$30 per person/$55 per couple
9:00 a.m. Walk/run event on Baxter Boulevard/meet at Cheverus parking
lot at 8:30 a.m. Donations "welcomed and enouraged." All
proceeds will go to the Maine Children's Cancer program.
1:00 p.m. Pick-up softball game at Cheverus. Donations welcome.
All proceeds to benefit the Make-A-Wish Foundation.
Deadline for acknowledgment is Friday, August 10th to Howie Chadbourne (Deering).
