Cheverus Girls Basketball Day Camp
Who:	Girls age nine (9) to fourteen (14) are invited, all skill levels are welcome.
When:	June 24-28, Camp begins at 8:30 am and finishes at 3:00 pm.
Where:	Finley Center at the University of New England Portland Campus 716 Stevens Ave., Portland
What:	Camp Goals: Teach and develop both offensive and defensive skills Integrate values of teamwork, integrity, and goal setting Maximize camp productivity and ensure personal attention through a high staff-to-camper ratio Have fun and develop a love and respect for the game of basketball Camp Highlights: Daily five-on-five competition Shot instruction and analysis Skill stations Mini-lectures and drills on various offensive and defensive skills Contests and awards Camp t-shirt Personalized program for improvement upon completion of the camp
Cost:	$175 for one week ($50 deposit required with all applications.)
About the Coach:	Mary Lee is entering her fifth year as a teacher at Cheverus High School. She played Division I college basketball for Holy Cross, giving her extensive experience playing against many nationally-ranked teams. Currently, Mary coaches the Cheverus Girls' Basketball Team. The Cheverus Girls' Team will compete at the Varsity and Junior Varsity level next season. She also spent two seasons as an assistant varsity coach for the Cheverus High School boys basketball team and has worked at numerous camps in the New England area and coached at the junior high and AAU level. Mary values the importance of teaching younger players the fundamentals of basketball and sharing her passion for the game.

28th Annual Cheverus Basketball Day Camp
Who:	Boys age nine (9) to fifteen (15) are invited
When:	June 24- July 6, Daily program from 8:30 am to 3:00 pm.
Where:	Catherine McAuley High School and, UNE, Portland
What:	Camp Goals: To teach and develop basketball skills in every phase of the game. To stress the proper attitude toward family, school, and athletics. Individual Attention is our trademark. Our teaching staff takes a personal interest in the progress of each camper. To enjoy the summer making new friends while having fun playing basketball. Camp Highlights: Daily League competition -- Everyone will play at lease two games each day -- each boy plays an equal amount of time Large staff of outstanding coaches Free reversible camp T shirt Indoor swimming pool for daily supervised swim period Guest appearances by top coaches and outstanding college and NBA stars One of the best shooting clinics Lectures and drills -- learn by playing Weekly Individual and Team awards
Cost:	Entire program: $275 for one week One Week Only: $150 ($50 deposit required with all applications.) Register Early -- Enrollment is limited and we've been filled to capacity for the past five years.
About the Program:	Boys are grouped into leagues according to ability, age and previous basketball experiences. Indoor and outdoor facilities (4 courts). Players will be broken down into small instructional groups where they will be taught the basic offensive and defensive fundamentals. Includes one-on-one, shooting, 3-point shooting and slam dunk contests.
