APPENDIX I Tobacco Use Student-athletes are forbidden to use or possess tobacco on the school grounds, in the school building or at a school sponsored event. The penalty for the use or possession of tobacco will be as follows: First Offense: The student-athlete receives suspension, 5 hours of detention and if he or she is a participant in an extracurricular activity at the time, HE OR SHE IS EXCLUDED FROM PARTICIPATING IN THAT ACTIVITY'S NEXT EVENT. Second Offense: Suspension, 5 HOURS OF DETENTION AND REMOVAL from any extracurricular activity for the remainder of the season.
