BOYS AND GIRLS OF ALL AGES!
COME ONE, COME ALL TO THE 2010 CHEVERUS AUCTION!
The theme this year will be “Under the Big Top” and is sure to be a fun and exciting event! After all, hasn’t everyone always wanted to run away to the circus?
It will be the “Greatest Benefit on Earth!” The annual auction is a scholarship fundraiser but we hope you will find it “fun” raising too! Thanks to the generous support of the greater Portland community, and the families and friends of Cheverus, we are able to provide almost 2.1 million dollars in financial aid to more than 62% our student body. The auction proceeds make up an important part of that sum.
We will be gathering Under the Big Top at the Holiday Inn by the Bay on May 1st, 2010 at what will be our 24th anniversary event. Our goal is to feature enticing and useful goods and services, as well as offer a memorable evening. The auction’s success is dependent on all of us. So think about what hat (or colorful wig and big shoes) you might like to wear:
- Donating or acquiring items for the auction
- Soliciting advertising
- Helping to plan or working at the event Under the Big Top
- Auctioning the goods and services in the tent
- Taking a chance on a raffle
- Being a member of the audience and gathering your friends to attend as well
