Cheverus follows a five-day ABCDE schedule rather than a Mon-Fri schedule. Students classes rotate and follow a different order on each day. The letters on each school day indicate which schedule to follow on that day. For example: if Friday is an "A" day and the following Monday is a holiday, the schedule proceeds to a "B" day on Tuesday following the holiday. Snow days and other unplanned school closings do not change the ABCDE schedule. For example, if a Wednesday "A" day is cancelled due to snow, when school resumes on Thursday, it follows the planned "B" schedule.
