Scenes from last years Christmas Tree & Wreath Sale. Start your decorating this weekend with the annual Christmas Tree & Wreath sale: December Saturday, December 3 & Sunday December 4, 9:00 a.m. - 4:00 p.m. Sponsored by the Foreign Language Clubs to benefit Haiti.

  • From a galaxy far, far away: the CFA is sponsoring a pre-release screening of Rogue One: A Star Wars Story on December 15, 7:00 p.m. at Cinemagic Westbrook.  Find all the details -- including how to reserve tickets -- here.

  • Ready for Christmas shopping? The first Holiday Craft Fair is this Saturday, December 3, 9:00 a.m. - 3:00 p.m. in the Cheverus Cafeteria.  Get your Christmas tree and some great hand-made gifts to go under it -- one-stop shopping!

  • Thank you to everyone who purchased poinsettias from the Sailing Team. Please pick up your poinsettias on Friday, December 2 from 2:30 - 5:00 p.m. in the multi-purpose room by the Keegan Gym. Questions? Email: Wendy Morrissette.

  • Wondering how to recycle old Christmas Tree lights? Most used Christmas tree lights end up in the landfill.  This year send your lights to Cheverus and we will recycle them for you. Drop them in Main School Foyer under the Ignatian Carbon Challenge sign through December 4.

  • Thanks to the CFA and all the parents who helped provide meals for the faculty and staff during Parent-Teacher conferences.

  • Officer Kevin Haley and Karen Connick are organizing a bus trip to Arlington, December 15-18, to volunteer with Wreaths Across America.  See the flyer for costs, itinerary and information about signing up.

  • Cheverus is partnering with Sunday River to offer a four-week ski and snowboard program in Jan./Feb. 2017. This program is open to all Cheverus Students, Parents, Faculty & Staff. Click here for dates, prices and info on the "Try It Before You Buy" Preview on Dec. 10.

College Advising News

Parents of Seniors: we reviewed this calendar of college advising events and goals during class last week, and will finish next week. Any reinforcement you can offer at home is much appreciated!

All Parents: a rep from UNE's pharmacy major will visit on December 8 during lunch to speak with interested students in Mrs Adams' classroom. Pizza will be served. Students will learn about this opportunity through the morning announcements and their science teachers.

Summer Science Enrichment: I've added some new links to the Summer Opportunities list, including Pathways to Science and 80+ Free Summer Programs for High School Students. Thanks to Ms. Po for passing along these resources!

Email Ms. Coddaire with any questions.
