Liturgies & Prayer Services
Cheverus High School gathers for worship at significant points during the year.
During a regular week, Mass is held for Cheverus students, faculty, staff, parents, and friends in the Loyola Chapel on Wednesday mornings at 7:15 a.m. and Friday afternoons at 2:30 p.m.

Campus Ministry provides a variety of invitations to worship. We try to create meaningful celebrations of the liturgy and to heighten awareness that Christianity and the message of Jesus are to be lived each day of our lives.
During Lent, students attend reconciliation services during their Theology class which includes the opportunity for individual confession. Fr. John Predmore, SJ is available on an individual basis to administer the sacrament of reconciliation. Fr. Predmore's office is located on the second floor of Loyola Hall.
Masses will also be celebrated on holy days of obligation or on special feast days. These Masses, organized by the Campus Ministry Department and the Student Liturgy Team, will be held in the Keegan Gymnasium unless otherwise indicated.

Liturgy Team
The Liturgy Team is a group of students who coordinate our school-wide liturgies with the Campus Minister. Students from all four years are welcome, and they plan many aspects of the celebration. The purpose of the group is to involve students in the process of planning a liturgy and to educate students about what goes into putting together a liturgy. It is Campus Ministry's goal to maximize student participation in Cheverus' liturgical celebrations by serving as greeters, lectors, altar servers, Eucharistic Ministers, and musicians.

Friday, October 18th = Feast of the North American Martyrs (9:14 a.m.)
Thursday, November 1st = All Saints Day (9:14 a.m.)
Friday, November 16th = Thanksgiving Interfaith Service (No Mass)
Thursday, December 20th = Advent Liturgy (9:14 a.m.)
Wednesday, February 6th = Ash Wednesday (9:14 a.m.)
Friday, March 14th = Reconciliation Services in Loyola Chapel (All day)
Thursday, May 1st = Ascension Thursday (9:14 a.m.)
Sunday, June 1st = Baccalaureate Sunday at St. Patrick Church (4:30 p.m.)

Board members, parents, grandparents, and friends, please feel free to come and worship with us. You are welcome at every Mass we celebrate. If you are a parent, your son or daughter may politely try to dissuade you from coming. Please know that you are invited and that there will be others there. We will not call attention to you so your child does not have to worry about being embarrassed. Just come.
You are an important part of our spiritual community.
