Summer Speed & Conditioning Camps Begin on June 17

June 08, 2019
By Cheverus Athletics

Skolfield Sports Performance is offering a nine-week program aimed at providing student athletes with the capabilities to reduce and resist injury during practice and competition or recover faster from injury while developing all areas of their strength and conditioning.  By doing this, they improve their performance during practice and competition while the accomplishments will aid in increased confidence for the youth athlete both on and off the field.

Our Performance Coaches go beyond providing a program and showing "how” to perform the lifts and conditioning drills, they will educate the athlete by explaining the "why" we do what we do.  Doing this encourages and develops strong, healthy long lasting training habits optimizing his/her success throughout their athletic career and in life.

All Cheverus students -- including incoming freshmen -- are welcome. If you have questions about the program or need financial assistance, please reach out to Stan Skolfield directly.

For more information: Download the Strength and Speed flyers. View the Skolfield Sports Performance video.

Note: this program is similar to the OA conditioning programs offered in previous summers.

Cheverus High School’s athletic and activities program is designed to further the educational development of young men and women through participation. We at Cheverus believe that the competition, camaraderie, loyalty, and respect for others experienced in athletics and activities will serve as a foundation for each student’s continued growth and life-long learning experience. It is our hope to maintain a program that is sound in purpose, reflects the Goals and Objectives of Cheverus, furthers each student’s educational maturity and health and contributes to school spirit and morale.
