What is HAP?

The Jesuit Higher Achievement Program at Cheverus High school provides a four-week academic enrichment program for young men and women who have successfully completed the 7th grade. Cheverus HAP incorporates the study of mathematics, critical reading, writing, and athletics. The Cheverus cultural experience helps to develop young men and women who will be open to further academic growth.

High School Preparation

HAP provides students with a feel for the demanding expectations of a college preparatory school like Cheverus. All the teachers of the HAP faculty are teachers at Cheverus High School.

How to Apply

  • Fill out the online application
  • Submit two letters of recommendation from the applicant's current school. Recommendations can be submitted online by the school here.

  • Recreational Games


HAP is a tuition-run program for all students. We ask the families of accepted students to pay the tuition of $900 for the four-week program.
