For this, We Pray

Early in the COVID-19 public health crisis, Pope Francis prayed to Mary to protect Italy and the world during the coronavirus pandemic.

“Under your protection, we seek refuge, Holy Mother of God. Do not disdain the entreaties of we who are in trial, but deliver us from every danger, O glorious and blessed Virgin.”

While it is imperative for us to practice social distancing, we can join together as a community of prayer for ourselves and for the world.

Please share your intentions and Fr. Pecoraro will remember them in his Masses.

For this, we pray

The season of Lent begins on Wednesday, February 26, starting a time of repentance and renewal. Ignatian contemplation and reflective prayer encourage us during Lent.

On Saturday, March 7, parents, guardians, and members of the Cheverus community are invited to a Morning of Lenten Reflection with our Chaplain to the Adult Community Fr. Bob Levens, S.J. The reflection will be held in Loyola Chapel from 9:00 a.m. to 12 noon. This is an opportunity to strengthen your relationship with God and deepen your faith. In addition to prayer and reflection, there will be time for fellowship. Join us! Kindly RSVP to Jeannette Wycoff at wycoff@cheverus.org.
