Today is a B day!

Homecoming dance is this Saturday, 7:00-10:00. Tickets are on sale today during periods 4, 5, and 6. Tickets are $10 per person and will be $12 at the door.

There will be a Pink Ribbon Club meeting at 2:30 in the Chapel; all members please try to make it. There will also be a bake sale on Friday in the Atrium during lunch sponsored by the Pink Ribbon Club.

Juniors going on retreat this Thursday.  Get your permission slip into Mrs. King. It is a dress down day for the retreat.  Be in the chapel by 7:10a.m.  Lunch will be served at the retreat center.

Civil Rights Club will meet on Thursday in the parlor at 2:30.

A Reminder to all students taking an AP course to turn in your signed yellow contract to any of your AP teachers or to Ms. Webster in the Guidance Office.

Are you interested in writing, public speaking, and media production? Blunt Youth Radio is looking for volunteers who want to learn how to report for radio, host a live talk show, engineer a radio broadcast, and make creative audio productions. Contact them now, or attend their open house on Nov 14 at 7pm at USM. Contact for more details.

Are you wondering where you can buy some beautiful, hand-crafted, beaded, leather wrap bracelets? They are on sale now in the Cheverus bookstore.  All proceeds to benefit - the Ignatian Teach-In work.  Please check out the supply this week. 

Students participating in the Ocean Ave Elementary School mentoring program, please check your email for an important announcement.

Students, Get ready to Show your Cheverus Spirit! Throughout the month of October, the student Government is sponsoring a photography contest. Students may submit photos of their friends showing off their Cheverus Spirit at Cheverus games, events or activities. Selected photos may be used in the yearbook or on the web. Winner announced October 31st gets some sweet Stag Swag. Check your Cheverus email for more information.

Today is a B day!

Get your dancing shoes out! Homecoming dance is next Saturday, October 8th, 7:00-10:00. Tickets will be going on sale today during periods 4, 5, and 6. $10 per person. Tickets will be $12 at the door.

The pink ribbon club will be meeting today at 2:30 in room 24. All are encouraged to come, there will be cookies.

There is a civil rights club meeting at 2:30 in the parlor. This is the first meeting of the year. If you are concerned about Bullying or Bias in our school be there. 

There will be a meeting in room 20 tomorrow afternoon for anyone interested in helping with the Recycling program on campus. It will only take 30 minutes or less each week and it will look great on your portfolio. Meeting will start promptly at 2:30.

Freshmen: reminder your permission slip is due to Mr. Peralta on Friday.

Students and parents are invited to attend a College Fair at Greely High School Gym on Sept 29 from 6-8pm with 75 colleges. EmailCoddaire@cheverus.org for the list.

Today from 4:00 – 5:30 pm, Mercy Hospital, in partnership with Key Bank, is offering a Q & A for high school students interested in pursuing a career in healthcare. Parents are welcome! Location: Mercy’s Fore River Campus, in the cafeteria. Contact Ms. Coddaire for more details.
