Today is an A day!

 

Key Club will meet tomorrow after school in room 24.

 

NHS members, please check your emails for an important message.

 

Prom committee will meet Wednesday after school.

 

The Civil Rights Team will be hosting a presentation on Seeds of Peace after school today in Ms. Beal's room (6A). Come and hear what the experience is like from two students who have already attended.

 

Open Mic 3 is this Friday, March 3rd! Sign up on Mr. Humphrey's door, room 1 in Loyola Hall. Sing a song, recite a poem, act a scene, play an original piece.... or just come and listen. Join the fun this Friday!

 

Baseball registration will be this Wednesday March 1st in the multi-purpose room immediately after school. All students interested in playing baseball should attend this information meeting. Any students interested in being a student manager for the baseball team should also attend.

 

Academic Decathlon: please stop by to see Ms Coddaire after school one day this week to get ready for the State Meet on Saturday.

 

The chess team will practice Tuesday, Thursday, and Friday this week with a possible match against Cape Elizabeth and every day next week in preparation for the State championship Saturday March 11.

 

 

Last Monday the indoor track teams competed at the State Championship Meet. The girls' team equaled a program best finish as it claimed the Runner up spot for the second time in school history. The team earned two individual state titles (Emma Gallant in the 400m and 200m), three school records (Gallant in the 55m, Emma White in the triple jump and Mak O'Brien in the triple jump), 13 all state performances and 20 personal best performances from the combined 18 male and female athletes who competed. 8 athletes from the team have qualified for the New England Championship this Saturday, in Boston.
