Today is a C day!

 

Prom committee will meet today directly after school in the parlor.

 

There will be an informational meeting for all girls that would like to play Lacrosse this season on Thursday March 2nd in the Team Room immediately after school.

 

There will be Open Gym in the Keegan Gymnasium from 2:30 - 4:00 – today, tomorrow & Friday. Sneakers and athletic clothing required.

 

Open Mic 3 is this Friday, March 3rd! Sign up on Mr. Humphrey's door, room 1 in Loyola Hall. Sing a song, recite a poem, act a scene, play an original piece.... or just come and listen.

 

Baseball registration will be today in the multi-purpose room immediately after school. All students interested in playing baseball should attend this information meeting. Any students interested in being a student manager for the baseball team should also attend.

 

Academic Decathlon: please stop by to see Ms Coddaire after school one day this week to get ready for the State Meet on Saturday.

 

  1. night is the information evening for the summer immersion to the borderlands. Please consider attending to have any questions about the elective answered and to learn more.

 

 

The American Musical and Dramatic Academy (AMDA) in New York and Los Angeles will visit Cheverus for any students interested in acting and theatre on Thursday March 2 at 8:45 in the College Advising office.

 

The chess team will practice tomorrow, and Friday this week with a possible match against Cape Elizabeth and every day next week in preparation for the State championship Saturday March 11.

 

Senior leaders for the Lenten faith sharing groups, there is a meeting after school today in the parlor. If you have not handed in your signup sheet for your reflection group please bring it to the meeting.

 

Attention Stags! Next weekend the Cheverus Theater Team will be competing at Morse High School in the 2017 MPA One Act Festival! They will be doing two preview shows on the Cheverus stage this Friday and Saturday at 7pm to get ready for their competition. Come support the team.

Habitat for Humanity of Greater Portland is in need of traffic stop volunteers for the 2017 Irish Road Rover Race on Saturday, March 5th in Portland. Volunteers must be 15 or older. Hours for traffic stop volunteers are 10:00am – 12:30pm. See Mr. Szkarlat if you are interested.
