Today is an A day!

Seniors attending the advent retreat this weekend, be in Loyola ready to go by 2:45. A great weekend is on its way.

The boy’s hockey team starts their season tomorrow night at 8:00pm. The game is at the Portland Ice Arena against Lewiston!

Did you know there are teens your age living on the streets right here in Portland? The Preble Street Teen Center provides safety, meals, clothing, and crisis intervention for homeless and runaway youth. The Key Club is sponsoring a Care Drive to donate items in need to help brighten their holidays. Let’s spread some holiday cheer! Items needed for example are gloves, mitten, new or gently used clothing items. There will be a list posted around the school and also on line. There will be a box outside the main office for your donations. December 16th is the deadline.

Cheverus Open MIc #2 is coming up! A week from today is our second Open Mic here at Cheverus HS. Sign up on Mr. Humphrey's door (Room #1 in Loyola). Join the fun on December 16th... the last day before Christmas break!

Most old Christmas tree lights end up in the landfill, so we'd like to help you recycle yours. Please bring your old Christmas tree lights to the bin in the foyer of the main hall between now and December 14th.

The Outing Club would like to invite the Cheverus community to join them on Monday, December 19th from 2-4 pm at the Thompson's Point Ice Rink. We have been offered a discounted rate for skating during that time. Skate rentals are only $2. Sign up outside of Room 24.

The New England Math team will compete Tuesday 12/13. We are second in the state but only one point above TA and two points above Bangor. Steve Larkin led the team with a perfect 6 last meet.

The Spanish Club would like to thank all the participants and the audience for taking part in Karaoke Night! The Cheverus community had a chance to see the principals of the Grad at Grad in action. Thanks to your generous support, we raised a substantial amount of money for Safe Passage.
