Today is an A day!
Film Club will be tomorrow after school in room 9. No one may participate without a permission slip.
Mr. Lops will be holding an informational meeting regarding the new "Strength and Conditioning Club" that he will be starting today at 2:45. Anyone who is interested may come to the meeting to learn more about this new club. This meeting will be held in the team room.
On Saturday the indoor track teams put up more personal bests, state leading marks and national rankings. Freshman Emma Gallant ran a new SMAA junior division record in the 200m (26.40). It is the #1 time in Maine this winter. She is currently ranked #1 in New England for all freshmen and moved up her freshman national ranking to 13th. She won the 55m dash also. She was joined by teammates who also won events including: Julia Pomerleau (high jump), Mak O'Brien (pole vault), Ashley Turner (800m), Sean Tompkins (55m and high jump), Katelyn Gendron (200m), Matt Sarapas (shot put), Evelyn Hanley (55m hurdles) and the girls 4x400m relay team of Gendron, Rosie Train, Emma White, and Gallant.
