Two options this year: Art Exploration (Gr 1 – 4) and Art Deep Dive! (Gr 4 – 8)
Art Exploration:
Join us for a week of art exploration and creative expression! This camp will have a theme and end with a collaborative mural art walk. This camp is geared towards new artists, exploring a variety of basic drawing, painting, and clay techniques in our projects. We will also explore the theme in non-traditional media such as Shibori, a Japanese fabric dying technique, and collage! Each day consists of large art blocks, break times for snacks, and group games.
Art Deep Dive!
Ready to advance your skills in art while exploring exciting new materials and themes?! This themed week of Art Camp is geared towards the more advanced, slightly older artists who are excited to challenge themselves in the arts. We will explore traditional media such as clay, painting, and drawing, and dive deeper into skills and techniques with each medium. Campers in this group will also explore more advanced media including printmaking, fabric dying, and mixed media! Each day consists of large art blocks, break times for snacks, and group games.
