Catholic Schools Week * Winter Carnival

January 29, 2021
By Office of Communications

Change of Schedule:
Remote Learning Day on Tuesday, Feb. 2

Based on the weather predictions we will shift into a remote learning day for Tuesday, February 2 (see schedule of classes below). At the moment we are planning to host all of our Winter Carnival events on Wednesday and Thursday as scheduled; if we need to make any alterations to our plans we will do so by Tuesday afternoon and use our website and school email to communicate any updates.

We had a great start to Catholic Schools Week with a theme-based dress down day and an enormous pile of contributions for Sacred Heart/St. Dominic Parish. Let’s keep the momentum going as we enjoy the snow and some much needed time with our friends during the Winter Carnival later this week!

Remote Learning Schedule:

  • 8:00 a.m. -- Period E
  • 9:00 a.m. -- Period F
  • 10:00 a.m. -- Community Period/Office Hours
  • 11:00 a.m. -- Period G
  • Noon -- Period H
  • 1:00 p.m. -- End of School Day

(No Mass on Tuesday morning.)

Celebrate Catholic Schools Week, February 1-5. Students may dress-down on Monday and Tuesday in exchange for donations of toiletries to support the St. Dominic's/Sacred Heart Food Pantry in Portland.  There will be a box for the donations in the atrium. Suggested donations include: toothpaste and toothbrushes; dental floss; soap; deodorant; razors; lip balm; small sized shampoo and/or conditioner; nail clippers; band-aids; hand sanitizer; throat lozenges; lotion; and any other personal toiletries.
