Students Collect 158 Sweatshirts for Teen Center
Thank you to all who donated sweatshirts for the Preble Street Teen Center. We had a goal of collecting 100 sweatshirts -- and we exceeded our goal. Our initial figure was 136 - but the final count was 158 sweatshirts delivered to keep teens cozy and warm this winter.
Thank you again to Madeline and Marshall Fowler for leading this community initiative! #peopleforandwithothers
On December 8, The Most Reverend Robert P. Deeley, J.C.D. was on campus to celebrate the Solemnity of the Immaculate Conception Mass in Loyola Chapel. This Mass was very special to the Cheverus community, as two of our seniors received the Sacrament of Confirmation after completing the R.C.I.A program with Campus Ministry.
One of the ways that we embody our Catholic Jesuit heritage is by making Cheverus a home for families of all faith traditions. Many students who join us are unfamiliar with any faith experience; we accompany our students on a journey to lead a life of meaning, belonging and purpose, and to discover the faith experience that is best for them.
