Daily announcements are read over the PA each morning and afternoon on schools days. These announcements include club activities, updates on athletic events and other school-related information for students. 1. The Cheverus Pickleball Tournament will take place next Wednesday, March 8 from 3:30-4:30. If you are interested in playing, forms must be submitted to Mrs. Ray by this Friday! Please pick up your form in the Main Office.
2. The Office of Campus Ministry is offering 2 opportunities to further your faith experience during this lent season. The Faith Sharing Lent Retreat: We cordially invite you to join a Faith Sharing group during the Lenten Season. The Faith Sharing will take place over the course of 4 weeks meeting in the Chapel on Wednesday or Thursday( whichever works best for you) during the Community Period.
3. The Ignatian Prayer Retreat. This is a weekend retreat that will take place Friday after school April 28th through Sunday the 30th around 2pm. The retreat takes place at the beautiful log cabin at Camp Marist in Effingham, NH. This is an opportunity to further your Ignatian Spirituality by learning about and practicing different forms of prayer created by St Ignatius for the Spiritual Exercises. There will be periods of instruction, silent prayer and group share. We will prepare our own meals together and share in the beauty of Lake Ossipee in the spring. Please know that only 10-12 students are able to attend so please return your application into campus ministry asap. Note only students who have attended Kairos by the retreat date may apply. Please see your email for the attached application for this retreat or stop by the Office of Campus Ministry.
4. Intramurals start on MONDAY! Get your teams together and submit your rosters to the athletic office ASAP. We will be doing 5 sports in 5 days, all with the same teammates...who will win the GOLD BALL THIS YEAR?
5. A reminder to all freshmen, sophomores, and juniors that your course requests for next year are due tomorrow. Please login to the Family Portal to make your course requests and see your School Counselor or Mrs. Ray if you have any questions.
6. Are you interested in sustainability or just like watching movies? Join the Environmental Action Club for a Watch Party of “A Plastic Ocean” today in the Computer Lab after the early release. Bring your friends! Snacks will be provided. Some teachers will also be offering extra credit.
