Tuition Assistance

Our commitment to financial aid at Cheverus arises from our Jesuit, Catholic mission - a belief in the power of education, and a desire to increase accessibility.  We work hard to create an inclusive student body resembling the diverse world into which students will graduate. The ability of the School to offer financial aid to qualified students depends heavily on your support.

There are several ways to support tuition assistance at Cheverus:
  1. The Cheverus Fund
Annual contributions to The Cheverus Fund provide current-use dollars that directly support our students, faculty, and core mission. Typically, more than half of unrestricted Cheverus Fund gifts go toward tuition assistance in a given year.

  2. Greater Glory Scholarships
Many donors want to make a difference in the life of a student by providing tuition assistance but are unable to meet the financial requirements of establishing an endowed scholarship. The Greater Glory Scholarship Program strengthens the connection of donor and student through a minimum contribution of $5,000 each year, spendable within the year in which it is received.

  3. Endowed Scholarships
A new scholarship fund at Cheverus may be endowed with a minimum gift of $25,000. Each year, Cheverus draws funds from the scholarship for student financial aid. Gifts of any amount may be added to existing scholarships.
